Get Your Honey Deuce Fix at the Dante Racquet Club
Tennis, Anyone?

Even casual readers of LAST CALL likely know how much of my free time I spend hanging out at Dante. I was there last Friday afternoon, stopping by for a quick Melon Sbagliato, and again on Monday evening to check out a preview of the Dante Racquet Club—a two-week activation celebrating the spirit of the U.S. Open, the annual late-summer Grand Slam tennis tournament held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, Queens.
While Dante has long served their version of the Honey Deuce, the seasonal viral sensation and official drink of the U.S. Open, the Dante Racquet Club, in partnership with Grey Goose, is a first-of-its kind takeover, with Accademia Dante (the annex next door to Dante) serving as an airy clubhouse with lush greenery and flower-and-tennis ball bouquets; tennis-themed cocktails and collectible cups along with custom tennis racquet drink stirrers and cocktail picks topped with tiny tennis balls; savory courtside snacks; a TV in the corner broadcasting the on-court action; and even a sky-blue Grey Goose-branded table-tennis table set up on the sidewalk out front.
Rodrigo Octávio Leme, Dante’s Director of Business Development, and the Dante team were sporting the same stylish Polo Ralph Lauren polos worn by the ball boys and ball girls at the U.S. Open, jazzed up with some added flare with embossed Dante and Grey Goose logos. The always-charming Maxime Belfand, New York Ambassador for Grey Goose and St-Germain, was holding court and challenging guests to for a quick table tennis match-up.
